Mothers in the enhanced home visitation program (NFN+) were more likely to continue breastfeeding at 6 months (p = 0.03) and 12 months (p = 0.003) compared with standard home visitation (NFN), with 44% of NFN+ mothers still breastfeeding at 12 months while all NFN mothers had stopped.
