Both DES-PCI and CABG resulted in substantial reductions in dyspnea over time with no significant differences beyond 1 month. DES-PCI provided faster initial improvement at 1 month (67.6% vs 58.0% dyspnea-free, p<0.001), but this difference was no longer apparent by 6 months (65.2% vs 66.9%, p=0.99). By 12 months, moderate-severe dyspnea (RDS 3-4) had fallen from ~25% to 9.1% in both groups.
